I haven't updated in a while, I know. The last few times I've tried, diaryland has not let me. Sorry!

I have been on Enbrel for 7 months.

Anyway, I am now on four injections a week. I take two 25 mg doses (yes, two injections) at once, twice a week. So, I'm doing 50 mg per time. I was improving, but not well enough. My dermatologist, on my last visit (mid-June), said that he was glad I was improving, but that he felt like I could be doing better. He said that there isn't really a dose established specifically for psoriasis yet, and that the 50 mg dose is being tested in trials. He also said that there will be a 50 mg vial to come out soon.

So far, I've done three doses at 50 mg. I have noticed a remarkable difference. It's completely flat. It seems to be receding more.

On my arms, the patches, which spanned from my elbow to my wrist, just on the underside of my arm, are much smaller. They are about half what they were. The elbow is completely clear, as are the two inches beyond it (toward the wrist).

So, the improvement continues, even if gradually. I am happy with the way it feels now. I am used to the way it looks. The fact that it isn't burning and hot and cracking open and bleeding is enough improvement for me. Any cosmetic improvement is just gravy.

Will take fourth 50 mg dose on Friday.
