2003-02-04 - 6:37 p.m. Well, the improvement continues. It's mostly flat now, and is sort of "receding" in places. Red spots are turning pink, and pink spots are disappearing. It's looking the palest it has ever looked. Minimal flaking, though the itch is still there. More like "dots" than plaques. Anyway, a catch-up on my dosing: 1/13/03 = 11th dose 1/16/03 = 12th dose 1/20/03 = 13th dose 1/23/03 = 14th dose 1/27/03 = 15th dose 1/30/03 = 16th dose 2/03/03 = 17th dose I've officially been on Enbrel for two months and one week. The other day, when I picked up my supply for February, I happened to look down at the slip of paper I usually sign for my prescriptions. I get them through my employer at an on-site employee pharmacy (I work in a hospital). The cost isn't usually listed on the slip, but this time it was. A month's supply of Enbrel? $1157.00. After my heart started beating again, I thanked God for my $25 co-pay. I knew it was expensive, but had no idea exactly how expensive.
