2002-12-16 - 10:57 p.m. Took third injection this morning around 11:00 am. Between last Thursday (my second injection) and today, my psoriasis has fallen back into old habits. It was extremely flaky and irritated over the weekend. Now, today, after the third injection, it seems to be calming down again. I think I may have had the needle in too deep for the second injection and therefore administered the Enbrel too deeply. I had the shot at the wrong angle or something. It WAS my first attempt to do it alone, so I may have screwed it up a bit. I think I have the hang of it now, though. So, a minor setback, but I am still hopeful. I just keep thinking about all the stories I've read about Enbrel users seeing major improvement by the second or third dose. I guess I may take a little longer. Will take fourth injection on Thursday, 12/19. That will complete two weeks, one box worth.
